Captain America Unveils New Suit for the Brave New World

Marvel's Captain America, played by Anthony Mackie, will wear a new classic navy blue suit in the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World.

The image released by Empire shows Sam Wilson in a dark blue superhero suit compared to Captain America's white suit at the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) passed on the iconic shield to Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) in 2019's Avengers: Endgame after the team defeated Thanos.

While The Falcon and the Winter Soldier revolved around Wilson's decision to take on the challenge, his real debut will come in 2025's Captain America: Brave New World.

Director Julius Ona said Wilson, like Steve Rogers, would find himself at odds with the powers that be on many issues.

"One of Sam's challenges as Captain America, serving under the government, lies in how he'll navigate decision-making.

“The action in this movie is incredibly exciting because this is a guy who can break, a guy who can bleed,” She said. “We’ll have a lot of fun getting to the end. »

While the new suit is somewhat reminiscent of Steve Rogers', Sam Wilson won't have the Super Soldier serum that made Rogers a formidable fighter.

Another reason to go back to the dark blue suit is that Steve Rogers' Captain America in The Winter Soldier and future films will have similar tones.

However, Sam Wilson's costume also incorporates the red and white colors that were part of most of Steve Roger's costumes.

It was previously reported that Marvel Studios has added Chris Evans to the cast of the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars.

Evans has already signed a contract to return to Secret Wars, Screen Rant reports citing MyTimeToShineHello.

However, it's unclear what role the actor will likely play, leaving fans wondering whether he'll play the original MCU Captain America or a variation of him.
