Shah Rukh Khan Set to Commence Filming for New Film in June

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that he is set to start shooting for his next film in June 2024. SRK had a phenomenal 2023 delivering hits like Jawan, Pataan and Dunki.

The actor said he thought he could take "a little rest" before returning to work on his next projects.

During Friday's call, Khan shared an update on his next project. He said: “I felt like I could rest. The teen movie Kar Chuka Hoon, all of that took a lot of physical work. I told the Kolkata Knight Riders team that this time the main matches will be played at the aung. Fortunately, filming will start in August and July... we are planning in June and in June there will be shuru ho jaegi. So I would love to attend all the home matches because coming to Kolkata, for me, is like coming home.

He further stated, "Being present here is crucial for me. I don't schedule my work based on it, but I strive to attend all the matches."

His team, Kolkata Knight Riders, is part of the current IPL cricket league in India. However, Shah Rukh Khan has not revealed the name and other details of his upcoming project.

Meanwhile, not only the 58-year-old but also his youngest son AbRam Khan also grabbed everyone's attention with his cute antics during IPL matches.

On the film front, Khan was last seen on the big screen opposite Taapsee Pannu in Rajkumar Hirani's Dinki. If media reports are to be believed, the actor will next share screen space with his daughter, actress Suhana Khan, in the film The King. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers yet.

After almost five years, Shah Rukh returned to the big screen with Siddharth Anand's Pataan in January 2023. The film broke several box office records and became one of the highest-grossing films of 2023.

Shah Rukh would also be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan in Tiger Vs Pathan. In the film, Tiger (Salman Khan) will face Shah Rukh's character Pataan.
